This week at Ash Grange care home in Bloxwich, one Resident has been celebrating her 83
rd birthday with her family at friends with a surprise visit.
Mrs Barbara Bollock who prefers to be called Joyce, celebrated her birthday with a surprise visit form her family and a friend who all sang to her.
Ash Grange’s kitchen chef made her a wonderful birthday cake for the occasion which went down very well with Joyce and her family. Other Residents also got involved and celebrated Joyce’s birthday and sang to her. There was a lot of singing and playing musical instruments in the lounge.
Joyce said she really enjoyed her birthday and loved seeing her family. She also quite liked everyone singing happy birthday to her.
Danielle, the Home Manager at Ash Grange commented, “It was lovely to see Joyce celebrating her birthday with her family and watching everybody sing to her”.
