This month at
Godden Lodge in Benfleet, which provides nursing, residential, residential dementia, and nursing dementia care, Residents and Colleagues have been wishing Dolly a happy birthday.
Dolly, a Resident at Godden Lodge has been celebrating her 81st birthday this week. She had a lovely long visit form her family in the morning, seeing her daughter and grandchildren who brought lots of cards, presents, flowers and balloons. Dolly was very happy to see them and grateful for some vases that were in the activities cupboard to display her lovely flowers.
Later in the afternoon, the Wellbeing team brought out a wonderful cake for Dolly and everybody sang happy birthday to her. She was overjoyed and couldn’t stop smiling and was even more thrilled to have some of the cake! She went on to say, “Its been a really wonderful day, and look at these flowers!”
Lanie, the Home Manager said, “I’m so happy for Dolly, and glad we got to spend today with her”.
