At HC-One’s Roxburgh House care home, in Cradley Heath, Resident Maureen celebrated her 80th birthday yesterday and fellow Residents enjoyed lots of activities too.
Maureen Taylor, and fellow Residents enjoyed a party and a toast to Maureen herself which was just lovely. Heather, the home’s cook made a beautiful cake and Maureen enjoyed opening her cards and presents and listening to everyone singing ‘Happy Birthday’.
Irene, who also lives at Roxburgh, joked, “Maureen you don’t look a day over 79!”
Home Manager, Linda Wilkes, wished Maureen a lovely birthday and, “Here’s to many more!”
Also this week, Resident Monica Hart, who is known as Mona at the home, (pictured right), enjoyed her jigsaw puzzle. She said that she used to do a lot of puzzles when she was younger and with her children. Mona said that she would love to do a harder jigsaw next time.
