A newly admitted Resident in Ashgrove had a wonderful birthday today and celebrated with the team and a talking parrot!
Eileen has only recently come to Ashgrove, so Colleagues thought they would give her the signature Ashgrove care home birthday. This included a birthday cake and lots of decorations. Eileen even had a toy talking parrot that she loves and enjoyed listening to the parrot talking to her.
Eileen said she was so happy to celebrate her birthday in Ashgrove and she was made to feel very special.
One of the home’s staff members commented, “Eileen really enjoyed the day, we all had a piece of cake and sang ‘happy birthday’. It is the little things like this that can really make a Residents’ birthday that little bit extra special”.
