Residents at HC-One’s The Orchards care home in Birmingham enjoyed creating their own wonderful pizza creations and experimenting with different toppings.
On 29th March, Colleagues and Residents gathered in the home’s activities area and set to the task of creating their own pizzas. Colleagues split Residents into different teams and all took part in creating their own toppings.
Residents then enjoyed a sing song whilst the pizzas were cooking and once they were cooked, a competition was held to see which team made the best pizza.
Connie Bull, a Resident at The Orchards said: “I had never tried my pizza topping before but it was really nice, I enjoyed making it.”
All Residents said they enjoyed taking part and helping do the tea for tea time. They look forward to doing some more cooking classes in the near future.
