On Thursday 13th January, the Residents at
Hurst Hall residential and residential memory care home, on Tameside, enjoyed playing a game of bingo whilst having a tipple.
Colleagues displayed a selection of drinks including sherry and gin, as well as little snacks too, which were offered around to all Residents. Maureen McLlroy, Maureen Smith, Barry Thorpe and Elsie Humphries all thoroughly enjoyed the selection.
During the game of bingo, Residents didn’t miss a number being called and were fully immersed in the game. The winners won different prizes and enjoyed their drinks whilst playing too.
One Resident said, “I would like this to be a regular thing!”
Maureen Smith added, “I enjoyed the laugh I had while playing!”
Fellow Resident Maureen McLlroy said that she would like to shout the numbers out next time!
Carol Potts, Care Home Manager, commented, “I heard lots of laughing coming from the lounge. Residents spoke about this round the evening meal table too!”
