Residents of Ferndale Mews, Widnes recently took a trip to their local Gala Bingo.
Residents were able to enjoying playing a few games of bingo and calling out the old fashioned sayings such as “unlucky for some” “legs eleven” “key to the door”, as they challenged each other to see who would call house first to secure a prize.
Bingo is a firm favourite at Ferndale Mews as it supports fine motor skills, concentration levels when listening out for the numbers and trying to find them but more importantly fosters interaction between the Residents.
Home Manager, John Holland, commented:
“It is always fun to watch our Residents interacting with each and it is important that they continue to feel part of the community. It was a great afternoon for all those that went along.”
