Bexhill care home goes to New Zealand
Residents at HC-One’s Grosvenor Park care home recently enjoyed another stop on their trip around the world as they held a New Zealand themed day.

Everyone enjoyed sampling some delicious home made kiwi fruit pavlovas alongside some New Zealand hokey pokey ice cream, whilst the room was adorned with various trinkets from New Zealand.

Of course, no trip is complete without learning new facts about the country you’re in, so Residents enjoyed taking part in a group quiz and testing their knowledge, whilst getting into the competitive spirit together.

The afternoon ended as everyone spoke about the culture of New Zealand and chatted with each other about their favourite aspect of the country.

Jackie O’Callaghan, Home Manager, commented: “The Residents love taking part in themed days, everyone gets into the spirit and loves to learn about new countries.”
