Celebrations were underway at Silverwood care home as Resident Joan turned 90 years young.
Colleagues at Silverwood dressed the home in birthday decorations, including colourful balloons and bunting.
Joan began the day by opening her many birthday cards from her loved ones as she smiled ear from ear opening the lovely messages.
Local entertainer Kev Fletcher also attended Joan’s party to perform especially for her birthday.
Residents enjoyed singing and dancing along to the music, as Joan was joined by her loved ones for the party.
Debra Meynell, Home Manager at Silverwood, said: “We were delighted to celebrate Joan’s special day with her friends and family, she was smiling from ear to ear as she saw all her cards and decorations in the home.”
