Beeches Care Home enjoy visit from Zoolab
Residents at The Beeches Care Home in Dukinfield enjoyed a visit from some unusual animals when Zoo Lab visited the home.

Zoo Lab visit the home regularly and all Residents, families and friends, always enjoy the session. Zoo Lab have been to visit the home a few times with all their exotic animals including a snake, tarantula and even some creepy crawlies such as millipedes.

Zoo Lab have a lovely relationship with the Residents and take the animals around the room giving each Resident the opportunity to touch and hold them. They spend time talking and answering people’s questions.

All the Residents were keen to get involved and really enjoyed holding the unusual creatures. Some didn’t like the idea of touching or handling the creatures but still enjoy seeing them and hearing the interesting facts about each creature.

The visit from the Zoo lab is a really enjoyable and therapeutic experience for the Residents.
