It was an exciting day for Residents at HC-One’s Fullarton care home in Irvine when they were able to enjoy a day at the beach after over a year of covid-19 restrictions.
There were smiles all around as Residents got on the minibus and headed to the beach for the first time in over a year, on the journey Residents shared happy memories of visiting the beach with their friends and family.
The sun was shining as Residents enjoyed a stroll along the promenade and watching the world go by, everyone commented on how nice it was to breath in the fresh seaside air once again.
One Resident commented: “I’ve waited for this day for so long, it’s been simply magic!”
Fullarton Home Manager, Nicola Ferguson said: “It was such a special day for everyone at Fullarton, well done to our amazing team for making sure so many of our Residents could enjoy a day at the beach.”
