HC-One’s Grosvenor House Care Home in Harrogate, North Yorkshire have been making the most of the recent heat wave by organising a no expenses spared BBQ lunch.
The weather was perfect, the atmosphere was calm and peaceful and the food was delicious – consisting of burgers, hot dogs, barbequed chicken, baked potatoes and salads with all the accompaniments.
Residents from Grosvenor House had a fantastic day in the sun, which was made even better with family and friends joining in.
Lunch was followed by strawberries and cream and topped off with a Pimms fruit punch.
Residents all commented on what a fantastic day they had, how the weather was gorgeous and it was lovely to eat outside. George, the husband of one of our Residents Hilda, commented:
“The lovely staff looked after me and Hilda so well, we had such an enjoyable afternoon.”
Grosvenor House’s Wellbeing Co-Ordinator, Lezlee Leahy commented:
“It was such a glorious day and the Residents, their families and the team here all thoroughly enjoyed themselves. A big thank you to everyone for all their hard work to make such a lovely event for our Residents.”
