BBC fame for artist at Priory Mews care homeMountenay Unit Resident Robert Hall received a very special video call from the BBC recently to discuss his passion for art and the talented work he has built up over the decades.

Robert Hall is an artist and is living with dementia at Priory Mews. His beautiful drawings are displayed in the care home and he is delighted to talk about what the pictures depict. Here you will find pencil drawings of landscapes, industry and coastal areas.

His friend, Ian, decided that his pictures were good enough to be talked about and so he made a call to the BBC to see if they could interview him. The BBC jumped at this opportunity and set up a video call to take place via the platform Zoom. On 16th June this took place at Priory Mews in the garden, in order to maintain social distancing, with Robert’s carer Kelly Rose.

Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t quite on our side so it was a bit cold and wet but Robert said that he really enjoyed the day!
