Residents from HC-One’s Beaconsfield Court care home in Barnard Castle attended a Winter Wellness event organised by Wellbeing for Life at Raby Castle on Tuesday 26th November.
The four week project hosted at Raby Castle encourage healthy physical and mental wellbeing during the winter season, Residents from Beaconsfield Court were invited to participate and have enjoyed a variety of activities such as, making wreathes and decorations, while socialising and sampling seasonal beverages and nibbles.
Residents have had a great time at the Winter Wellness events, one Resident commented that she has lived in Teesdale all her life, but has never been to Raby Castle before so it was a wonderful experience.
Beaconsfield Court Home Manager, Laura Langridge said: “Thank you to Wellbeing for Life for inviting our Residents to take part in the Winter Wellness project, everyone has enjoyed the activities and it has really got us counting down the days till Christmas at Beaconsfield Court.”
