Today at
Aspen Court in London, which offers residential dementia, nursing and nursing dementia care, Colleagues hosted a barbeque for the Residents and staff.
As predicted, the BBQ was a resounding success amongst the Residents, who loved the food and ambiance it created around the home. Colleagues from all areas of Aspen Court assisted with this and enjoyed the food themselves! Thanks to everyone’s tremendous efforts, the day ran smoothly and effortlessly.
There was a lovely spread of food to accommodate everybody’s preferences which was very much appreciated by the Residents, with one saying “What an incredible range of foods! Thank you so much for your efforts”. With burgers, hot dogs, pastas and salad all on offer, as well as a range of soft drinks, the 20 attending Residents had a fantastic day.
Residents speaking afterwards commented “We really enjoyed the BBQ and eagerly await the next one” and “It was great, what you have done is amazing here, thank you so much”.
Mahendra the Home Manager said “It was such a nice day to have a BBQ, the Residents really enjoyed it, and the staff also got involved which was lovely to see”.
