Bankhouse hosts Christingle Service
Residents of HC-One’s Bankhouse celebrated Christingle with their own special service as part of their festive calendar. Christingle is named after the Christingles which are lit as part of the service.

In advance of the service, Residents made their own Christingles in the traditional way of oranges decorated with red tape, sweets and a candle. Residents loved crafting these and it triggered many happy memories.

Christingle recognises and raises funds for children who are facing Christmas along and are unable to cope.

Home Manager, Janet Barnes commented:

"Christingle is a great celebration and we held ours as part of our Christmas Eve preparations and it is a great way to bring the community, Residents and their families together to experience the joy of this well-loved Christmas tradition."
