Residents at
Balcarres, residential and residential care home, in Dundee, have enjoyed doing some different activities in their room.
For the Residents who spent a lot of time in their rooms, staff and other Residents went to their rooms for some activities.
Some of the activities included word-searches, puzzles, colouring and reminiscence of old times.
Although this is done each week at Balcarres, it was nice to get all the staff involved, it is really nice to see the Residents happy and doing activities which they enjoy.
Alma, a Resident, said, “Oh the Deputy Manager is a great singer and should be on the radio.”
Jackie, another Resident, added, “I have enjoyed spending one-to-one time with them for longer.”
Lynn McLean, Care Home Manager, commented, “It is nice for the Residents to enjoy some of their favourite activities, especially when the staff can spend some quality time with them.”
