Residents at Willow Brook care home spent the afternoon along with the staff baking a variety of cakes.
Each week the Residents bake a different type of cake or biscuit, this week they made fairy cakes. They had a lovely afternoon decorating the cupcakes, before the best bit of getting to taste test them!
The Residents spent their time icing the tops of the cakes, they all said how good the cakes tasted and were really proud of their hard work making them. It was difficult to decide if the taste or the look of the cakes was the best!
One of the Colleagues at the home commented ‘It’s great to see everyone joining in and baking together, it’s a really relaxing activity.’
