Colton Lodges Care home decided to get involved in armed forces day and baked up a storm ready to sell the delicious cakes at their coffee afternoon.
Everyone got involved and in the end raised over £60 for the charity.
Residents said they loved the afternoon and loved being part of raising money for a good cause. Members of the care team got into the spirit of the day, donning 1940's war time attire.
