Baking Club delights Residents at Dudley care homeResidents at HC-One’s Himley Mill care home in Dudley enjoyed getting their chef hats on this April as they took part in one of the homes much loved Baking Club afternoons.

Baking Club is a very popular club at Himley Mill, so when Residents learnt they were going to baking some wonderful treats on the afternoon of April 7th, they couldn’t have been happier.

Residents really got stuck in and enjoyed putting all their ingredients into their bowls and mixing them together, really getting their hands dirty.

After that, they rolled their dough out and cut their biscuits into shapes of their choice, from stars, circles and squares, to so more freehand cut-outs.

“Residents really go involved and they looked like they were having plenty of fun,” said Home Manager, Kelly Smith.

Located in the neighbourly village of Himley, just outside Wolverhampton, Himley Mill is a friendly care home that offers nursing and nursing memory care for those living with dementia, as well as care for young people with physical disabilities.
