Residents at Avon Court care home were putting their creativity skills to the test when they spent an afternoon making beautiful cards to send to their families whom they have missed due to lockdown measures.
HC-One staff Lyn Neate and Pamela Ofield provided HC-One branded orange stickers which were used to create the middle part of the flower and then Residents added colourful petals turning them into flowers to send out to their families. Some enclosed a verse and several pictures of activites they have been doing during lockdown so their families knew they certainly have been keeping busy .
One Avon Court Resident remarked, “I liked the thought that my family can see we are being productive even throughout this difficult time.”
Colleague Daphne commented saying that the cards were “simply lovely”.
