Avalon Park has Tea with Mayor
Councillor Shadab Qumer joined HC-One’s Avalon Park in Oldham to celebrate the sixth annual Care Home Open Day on 21st April.

To celebrate in style, Councillor Shadab Qumer joined the home in an elegant afternoon tea and a raffle was drawn which raised £55 towards the Residents fund.

The Mayor was given a tour of the home and met with Residents and colleagues to see first-hand the kind care being delivered.

Avalon Park Home Manager Amy Robertson said:

“We would like to extend a huge thank you to Councillor Shadab Qumer for taking the time out of his busy schedule and visiting the home on this wonderful occasion. Celebrating care home open day and linking our communities together is very important here.”

HC-One Managing Director Liz Whyte said:

“Care Home Open Day embodies our ethos at HC-One, as our relationships with the local communities we serve are such an integral part of the work that we do.

“We strive to be the first-choice provider for those looking for the kindest care and the employer for choice for the best, most professional and kindest staff, and we are so pleased to be able to demonstrate this to our visitors during Care Home Open Day.

“We hope that Councillor Shadab Qumer enjoyed his day at Avalon Park and look forward to welcoming him back soon.”
