Residents at Avalon Park care home in Oldham were delighted to be crowned winners during a recent visit to Mecca Bingo.
As Bingo has always been a hit with the Residents, Avalon Park’s Wellbeing Coordinator was delighted to organise the trip for everyone.
The trip began with the home’s Chef Manager preparing a lovely packed lunch, followed by everyone doing their ‘lucky dance’ on the way in the minibus.
Residents were thrilled to see their numbers appear, with a couple even winning a prize for being first to get a line or full house.
One Resident commented: “I love bingo, especially when I get lucky and am crowned the winner.”
Renu Kataria, Home Manager at Avalon Park, said: “Bingo is one of our Residents’ favourite activities. They were all beaming when they returned to the home, especially those that had won a prize.”
