Augustus Court Care Home had a wonderful morning when Sling Swing Garforth visited the home.
Sling Swing is an exciting gentle movement and dance class for mums and dads or carers with their babies and toddlers in soft structured slings and baby carriers or wraps.
Musical styles include pop, hip hop, Charleston, Cha Cha, Salsa, Meringue, Bachata, Reggaeton, Swing, Disco, Musical theatre, Ballroom and more.
The group completed exercises with the babies and danced for the Residents to a variety of different songs.
The orangery was full with Residents and Colleagues, watching the performance, which was followed by morning refreshments for everyone.
The Residents particularly enjoyed having some lovely cuddles with the babies after their performance!
Resident, Hazel Bevington, remarked:
"It was marvellous watching the Mums dancing with their little babies!”
