Residents, Colleagues and Relatives at
Augustus Court, residential and residential dementia care home in Garforth, Leeds had a great time at the annual Christmas Fair.
The home looked beautifully festive with a balloon garland and all the trimmings. All the decorations made everyone who attended feel very festive and has really made them excited for Christmas. Colleagues were dressed in festive outfits to make the day feel extra special!
It was a really successful day at the Christmas Fair. Residents, family, friends, and Colleagues provided donations for all of the different stalls and activities. There was a sweet stall, cake stall, toy stall, tombola, bottle stall and a raffle.
Residents’ families and friends all said what a lovely day they had had.
There was also a fantastic Santa's Grotto with thanks to Colleague, Michaela for being Santa for the day. The Residents said they had never seen anything so magical
A wonderful £340 was raised by all who attended for The Residents Fund.
Julia Davison, Care Home Manager, remarked, “It was a wonderful festive atmosphere and great to see old times back again with Residents, Relatives and Colleagues enjoying time together.”
