Aston House goes on a journey around PolandEvery week on Thursdays at Aston House Staff host an 'International Cuisine' lunch for Residents and fellow Colleagues reflecting their respective countries. 

The menu for this Thursday was 'Polish food' accompanied by lovely Polish music. Everyone looked stunning in their red and white Polish dress code that symbolised the colour flag of Poland. 

The dining table was decorated with the represented nation-Poland. One of the staff carers assisted the cook with a delicious Polish traditional dish named 'Bigos' which is made with a blend of chicken and mushrooms and some Polish dessert.

“Indeed! It is fantastic to smell and taste different dishes from around the globe”, Anthony, one of our new Resident really enjoyed saying it was a unique and wonderful meal to him, “It was an amazing lunch experience.”

Everyone enjoys the variety of dishes and music of International Cuisine. Resident Alice said that she was thrilled to join together in sharing different cultural cuisines.
