Ashworth Grange Supports St George's Crypt with Mug Donation

On March 18th, Ashworth Grange Care Home proudly handed over hundreds of mugs to St George’s Crypt in Leeds, contributing to their urgent appeal for essential supplies. The care home team, alongside friends and family, came together to collect and donate these much-needed items to support individuals facing hardship in the local community.

One of the guests who attended the handover was Lee, a participant in The Growing Rooms, the only residential, abstinence-based drug and alcohol recovery programme in Leeds. Lee shared his inspiring journey of transformation, from past struggles to his current path of recovery. His story was a powerful reminder of the vital work that St George’s Crypt does in helping individuals rebuild their lives.

Sharon Troy, Home Manager at Ashworth Grange, expressed her gratitude for the community’s generosity and the opportunity to make a difference. “We are delighted to be able to support St George’s Crypt with their urgent mug appeal. They are in desperate need of these essential items to continue supporting their clients. Thanks to the support of our Ashworth Grange friends and family, we have been able to make a fantastic donation.”

Ashworth Grange looks forward to continuing its support for St George’s Crypt and other community initiatives, reinforcing its commitment to giving back and making a meaningful impact in Leeds.
