HC-One’s Ashton View care home enjoyed a session of dancing as they took part in the local dance off organised by Wigan council.
Members of the council came in to teach Residents how to dance along to the song ‘Up Town Funk’ so they would be prepared for the event at the local venue.
During the event, the Residents and Colleagues enjoyed dancing to the song, alongside a few other care homes in the local area. Coffee and cake was then served to end the afternoon nicely, with Residents all speaking about their favourite part of the day.
Jamie Duncan Noke, home manager, commented: “The Residents have thoroughly enjoyed themselves, we have had such a fab afternoon and hope to take part in the next one.”
