HC-One’s Daisy Nook care home, on Tameside, have received a fantastic gift from the local rotary club.
Tameside Rotary Club kindly donated a ‘Joy for All’ interactive cat to the care home and Residents have taken to it very well. In particular, Earnest, who lives at Daisy Nook, loves cats and was so happy when he met the new addition to the family.
Earnest, while holding the cat, remarked, “It’s purring at us. Little throats purring”.
He has named the cat ‘Sausage’ after a cat he used to have.
Wellbeing Coordinator, Lindsey, commented, “Sausage has been a big comfort to Earnest through these hard times.”
“We are extremely grateful to the Tameside Rotary Club for their kind donation.”
