Ashton-in-Makerfield care home open their doors for Open Day on Friday 1st JulyColleagues at Ashton View care home are preparing for their open day to be held on Friday 1st July, as part of Care Home Open Week, after a particularly difficult two years, everyone is excited to welcome the local community to the nursing and dementia care.

The last two years have been very unpredictable and difficult not just for care homes families and businesses too which affected the whole community. So, in response and to celebrate the open day, Ashton View is asking the local community if they could come together to support the open day. 

The event is happening on Friday 1st July between 10am – 5pm for Residents, Relatives and anyone who would love to come and join in from the local community. 

Wellbeing Coordinators Ashley Smith (pictured left) and Ann Marie Roberts (pictured fight) are also asking local people and businesses if they would like to make any donations for the day, including unwanted gifts or items, that the Residents can use. 

They commented, “Here at Ashton View, the Residents’ wellbeing is our main focus and every little helps. Thank you. Everyone can’t wait for open day; the Residents will love it and are looking forward to it.”

The day will consist of live entertainment to enjoy, and fun fair games too!

Ashley and Ann Marie said, “This doesn’t just mean a lot for the Residents, it’s for all the community too!”
