Ashington care home unveil new music wallResidents at HC-One’s Ashington Grange care home in Ashington have been treated to a lovely new music wall after staff decided to freshen up their harmony unit.

Ashington Grange care home Care Assistants Emma Hall and Tom Biggs came up with the plan and got to work on it, printing photocopied music sheets and pasting them onto two corner walls whilst others helped by printing out sheet music and making musical notes.

Also stuck on the wall are some vinyl discs of old artists that have been relevant to every Residents era, so that they can sit around and reminisce about their young years and have a sing-a-long too.

Top finish off the wall Residents sketched out some piano keys and stuck them underneath the display so it replicated a piano.

One Ashington Grange care home Resident said: “We love it, the piano key wall is lovely and we definitely need more instruments to alongside the drum kit too!”
