Arts and crafts session takes a unique twist at Limpley Stoke care homeResidents at Avon Park care home in Limpley Stoke enjoyed celebrating the South American tradition of Dia de los Muertos with a unique arts and crafts session.

The creative session was arranged as part of the home’s commitment to celebrating and learning about other cultures, having already learned about Diwali in October and created some beautiful rangoli drawings.

Residents selected their favourite patterns to colour in, with many shading in beautiful sugar skulls with an array of bright colours.

As they coloured in, Residents discussed how traditions and celebrations vary all over the world, with many learning about Dia de los Muertos for the first time.

One Resident commented: “I really enjoyed the colouring in, I learned so much about South American traditions.”
