Arts and crafts are a success at Newton Heath care homeResidents at Averill House care home in Newton Heath showed off their inner artists with an exciting crafts session at the home.

As Residents were handed their patterns to colour in, they selected their favourite coloured paints to use for their artwork.

Craft sessions at Averill House are a popular activity for Residents, as it helps to improve hand eye coordination, as well as being a calming and therapeutic activity for many.

After they finished painting, Residents were pleased with their finished masterpieces and couldn’t wait to show them to their fellow Residents.
