The Residents at
Cedar Court residential and nursing care home, in Wigston, enjoyed a pantomime afternoon today with two actors singing and dancing as they cruised around the world.
Everyone involved enjoyed engaging with the actors and singing along with them. Some Residents even copied some of the dance moves as they laughed and smiled throughout the whole performance and enjoyed waving the flags from many of the countries that they stopped and visited at.
One of the actors even sang a solo with one of the Residents and thanked them for joining in and complimented her singing. The Residents really enjoyed the afternoon performance and are already looking forward to the Christmas show.
Barbara, who lives at Cedar Court, loved that the actor sang with her when he was doing a solo and clapped for her after the song and told her how good she was.
Louise McQuone, Care Home Manager, commented, “The Residents enjoyed the singing and the dancing and enjoyed the interaction between the actors and themselves.”
