Residents from HC-One’s Amber Lodge care home in Armley, Leeds visited the coastal town of Bridlington for a fun-filled day by the seaside.
The group didn’t let the disappointing weather put a damper on their day, they started with a visit to a local restaurant where everyone enjoyed a traditional fish and chip lunch followed by a boat trip where Residents shared memories of their favourite seaside destinations and fond memories of summer holidays with loved ones.
After the boat trip, everyone browsed the shops and amusements on the sea front before heading back to Amber Lodge. Residents had a wonderful time in spite of the bad weather and thanked the team for organising a lovely day out.
One Resident said: “I really enjoyed the boat trip, it was great to reminiscence with the group and hear such happy memories from everyone.”
