
Rievaulx House care home in Armley, Leeds was delighted to raise a fantastic £320 for the home’s Resident Fund at its recent summer fayre.
Wellbeing Coordinator Shelley organised the activities for the day, which included a book sale, raffle, tombola and a name the bear game.
Guests enjoyed a selection of sweet treats, including sweet bags, strawberries and cream and a variety of beverages.
Local performer Henry sang a number of classic hits for Residents, who sang, clapped and danced along to the music.
One Resident commented: “I really enjoyed the summer fayre, Henry was fantastic.”
Rachael Hall, Home Manager at Rievaulx House, said: “We were delighted to have raised such a fantastic amount for the Resident Fund, which really helps to benefit Residents’ wellbeing in the home. It was a true pleasure to see so many smiling faces around the home.”
