Residents at HC-One’s Worsley Lodge care home in Manchester have been keeping fit in lockdown with armchair exercises.
Today, Residents worked out their upper bodies using resistance bands – a great way to stay active and flex your muscles.
After their rigorous workout with Angie, a Colleague at Worsley Lodge, everyone enjoyed a well-deserved cup of tea and a fun sing-a-long to keep the endorphins flowing.
One Resident commented: “A great morning work out. We love doing our exercises. Angie always makes them more interesting and finishes off with a few songs.”
Armchair workouts are a great way for Residents to keep fit and mobile in lockdown when some activities are unfortunately limited.
Worsley Lodge Home Manager, Anne Bannon, said: “It’s nice to see Residents enjoying themselves and morale staying high.”
