April Park Care Home Weekly Exercise Class Brings Joy and MovementThis week, during our weekly exercise class at April Park Care Home, the energy was high and the smiles were even higher as both Betty Gregory and Joyce Hutton joined in the fun, dancing alongside Sharna Wall and Samantha Robinson, our well-being coordinator. It was an incredibly joyful and lively session that got every resident involved and moving to the music.

At April Park, we actively encourage all our residents to participate in events that promote physical and mental well-being. Our chair exercise class is one of the most popular activities, especially with our ladies, and it’s easy to see why. It offers a chance for everyone to join in, no matter their ability.

Betty Gregory shared her excitement: "It was fun to jump about!" while Joyce Hutton added, "I love exercise class, every time."

Sharna Wall, Activities Coordinator, expressed her happiness at seeing the residents so engaged: "It’s amazing to see the joy that our exercise classes bring. It's about more than just movement—it's about creating an environment where everyone feels encouraged and supported. When the residents enjoy themselves like this, it makes everything worth it."

We look forward to many more lively and fun-filled classes in the future!
