HC-One’s Appleton Manor, Stockport enjoyed a fantastic afternoon when singer, Ian Jenkins entertained the Residents and their families with hits from the 50’s & 60’s.
From the moment he started to sing, the Residents, families and friends were gripped by his fantastic voice, and got into the spirit of the afternoon with an impromptu sing-along. Ian ensured that our Residents were kept entertained and had them in fits of laughter with his witty banter and jokes!
Residents enjoyed themselves so much, they kicked their shoes off and got up for a dance! The lounge was decorated with inflatable guitars, saxophones and microphones.

Ian Jenkins has been in the entertainment industry as a semi-professional musician, singer, songwriter and actor since the mid-70s and has appeared on the same bill as top acts such as Russell Watson, Edwin Starr, the Real Thing and Jools Holland, as well as making many appearances on radio, TV, film and panto.
