Residents, employees and Relatives at Appleton Lodge care home in Stockport joined forces to raise a fantastic £56 for Children in Need.
Staff at Appleton Lodge organised a number of exciting fundraising activities on the day, which included wearing pyjamas or yellow clothes and making a donation to the cause.
Local performer, Ian Jenkins, also joined the Residents to provide some light-hearted entertainment at the Children in Need party, ahead of everyone watching the live broadcast together in the evening.
One Resident commented: “I wore yellow today because it’s all for a good cause! Ian gets us all up dancing so we really enjoy it when he comes.”
Kay Slinger, Home Manager at Appleton Lodge, said: “The residents really enjoyed fundraising and had a good laugh at the staff for wearing their pyjamas and yellow clothing.”
