Appleton Lodge welcomed Young at Heart entertainer, Ian Jenkins to celebrate Joan’s 83rd years young Birthday!
Ian is a firm favourite of Residents and has been performing since the mid 70’s with his songbook taking Residents across all genres from county to jazz, swing and more.
Residents and relatives enjoyed light refreshments of tea and cake and a good old sing along as Ian kept them entertained with his humour and audience participation.
Birthday girl, Joan was joined by family and friends as part of the celebrations. The Kitchen team made a lovely cake for Joan whilst all the Residents joined in singing Happy Birthday.
