Residents and staff at Appleton Lodge care home in Stockport enjoyed a traditional Christmas dinner in celebration of the festive period.
The three course lunch was served up at The Joshua Bradley, a pub located in Woodley.
Residents enjoyed pulling Christmas crackers, listening to festive music and enjoying some festive drinks, in addition to enjoying their Christmas dinner and traditional Christmas pudding.
One Resident commented: “It was lovely to go out and enjoy a meal with everyone in such a warm, welcoming community environment.”
Kay Slinger, Home Manager at Appleton Lodge, said: “The Residents really enjoyed the meal out, as it gave everyone a chance to talk about their favourite Christmas memories over some delicious food.”
