Annual Easter Fair held at Melbury CourtMelbury Court held their annual Easter Fair and egg hunt this Saturday where various stalls were set up, including Val’s Gifts and Hannah’s Handmade Cards, as well as a tombola and a raffle.

Over 400 eggs were hidden around the home and gardens including two golden eggs, one of which contained a £5 note and the other a mystery prize.

The children had a great time hunting for the eggs, so much so they were all found within 20 minutes, whilst the parents enjoyed some famous corned beef pie.

One of the golden eggs was found by Anna, a staff members daughter and the other was found by a Resident’s great grandson.

An amazing £250 was raised on the day; however, the raffle is still ongoing until 29th March so this number could well change.

Everyone came together to help with the Easter fair, with staff and families volunteering to help run the stalls.

The Residents loved watching the children run around looking for the eggs, maybe even giving them a pointer or two!
