Annual cricket match takes place at Park HouseResidents from HC-One’s Park House Care Home in Guisborough, Redcar and Cleveland, took part in their annual inter-floor cricket challenge to mark the end of Dementia Awareness Week.

For the fourth year running, Residents have enjoyed taking part in their annual inter-floor cricket challenge, with the Grace Suite forming a team from both floors.

The Residents thoroughly enjoy the competitive fun and family members and staff are also always keen to get involved. Everyone had a fantastic afternoon, finishing off with a cricket tea, complete with strawberries and cream.

The ground floor won the trophy for the first time ever and Alishia Calvert, Home Manager at Park House presented trophies to Resident Sid, together with the male and female highest scorers, Len and Edna.

Alan and Brenda from the Grace Suite took the crown of Man and Woman of the Match. A great day was had by all with the Residents commenting:

“We really enjoyed the match and the strawberries and cream were delicious!”
