Residents at HC-One’s Knowsley Manor care home in Liverpool welcomed two four-legged friends, Dolly the Shetland pony and Kiara the goat in March.
Everyone gathered in the lounge to meet Dolly and Kiara, they were both instantly popular with the Residents who all enjoyed stroking them and asking questions about their behaviour, diet and lifestyle.
Animal therapy is always an enjoyable experience for Residents at Knowsley Manor, everyone commented on how lovely it was to meet their new furry friends and they look forward to their next visit.
After the animals departed, Residents spent their afternoon talking about Dolly and Kiara as they ate delicious homemade cake with a warm beverage.
