Residents at HC-One’s Waterside care home in Tipton welcomed a range of creatures and critters into the home for an afternoon of fun.
Animal Mania brought a variety of animals to Waterside for everyone to meet, including an owl, snake, lizard, hedgehog and much more. Residents, visitors and members of the care team all took turns to hold the animals and listened to interesting facts about their different diets, behaviours and habitats.
Everyone loved meeting all of the different creatures, the favourite of the day had to be the beautiful owl. Residents commented that holding the animals made them feel very relaxed.
