Residents, Relatives and Colleagues received a wonderful visit from some furry friends recently when Animal Magic came to the home.
They experienced meeting some extraordinary animals including a skunk, shrew, and boobook owl, as well as two adorable 10-week old meerkats who stole the show as they were so small.
Residents were slightly wary when holding the skunk, due to their reputation for their strange smell. However, they were pleasantly surprised to find that they actually don’t smell at all when holding them.
Everyone enjoyed getting involved and couldn’t resist giving the animals a cuddle, with one Resident commenting: “it was such a wonderful experience to see these animals, I loved to see the meerkats running around being mischievous, it was amazing.”
