Animal Madness at Cedar CourtEvery three months, Residents at Cedar Court care home gather for their Animal Interaction activity session.
Residents are given the opportunity to hold and interact with various animals with the help of animal handler Sally whilst she gives many interesting facts about the critters.

Animals included Guinea Pigs, snakes, lizards, rabbits, a mouse and a Turtle! Twenty Residents attended and each one chose what they would like to hold.

Resident Olive commented:

“They are so cute, all the animals she brings in. The rabbit was beautiful to look at. I Wish I could have kept him!”

Resident Mary added:

“It was a really good session. I don’t like the snake but sally doesn’t bring it out until I have gone. I really love seeing the rabbits and guinea pigs!”

Louise McQuone, Care Home Manager remarked:

“This was a really fun session which the Residents very much enjoyed! It was lovely seeing their smiles and how many attended the session. Animal therapy makes a huge impact and is a great way for us to keep providing the kindest possible care!”
