Animal antics for Sutton-in-Ashfield care home ResidentsResidents at Stoneyford care home in Sutton-in-Ashfield enjoyed a trip out to White Post Farm as they made many new furry friends.

During their trip, Residents saw meerkats, goats and rabbits and were even able to stroke and hold some adorable duckings, guinea pigs and geckos.

Many Residents commented on how therapeutic the experience was, as they felt how soft the animals were and learned more about their diets, habitats and lifespan.

After helping to feed the goats, much to Residents’ delight, the day was rounded off with a delicious selection of treats and refreshments in the cafĂ©.

Keeley Morris, Home Manager at Stoneyford, said: “Our Residents love animals and therefore the trip to White Post Farm really did go down a treat with everyone involved – so much so that they haven’t stopped talking about it since we got home.”
