Residents at The Beeches care home in Dukinfield took a walk on the wild side as Zoolab visited the home with some unusual guests.
A popular activity amongst Residents, Zoolab’s visits see exotic animals and creepy crawlies visit the home for everyone to meet.
This month’s visit brought various species of animal visit the home, including a snake, rat, tarantula, giant millipede and an iguana.
Residents plucked up the courage to stroke and even hold the animals, as they learned more about the creatures’ habitats, diets and lifespans.
One Resident commented: “Oh my, that was really interesting! I can’t believe I held a real life iguana.”
